Role overview
Join us as a dependable, detail-focused partner who keeps materials moving and inventory precise across a busy manufacturing floor. As the Materials Flow and Dock Logistics Coordinator, you’ll be hands-on at the dock and on the shop floor, working closely with production and fabrication to ensure parts and finished goods move smoothly, safely, and on time.
A day in the life
- Receive inbound materials and verify every shipment against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while following safety practices.
- Accurately record inventory changes and keep counts current.
- Pull, package, and stage parts and products for outgoing shipments.
- Transport materials between departments and buildings to keep work flowing.
- Make local deliveries and pick up parts from vendors as needed using a company vehicle.
- Perform quality checks on incoming materials and outgoing orders.
- Keep the warehouse neat, organized, and aligned with inventory standards.
- Pitch in with production and shop operations whenever needed.
What you bring
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory processes, including First-In, First-Out (FIFO) practices.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Comfort working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lift materials and stay active throughout the shift.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required (company vehicle use required).
