Material Handlers provide general labor support to production, pack-on-demand lines, or other areas by assembling trays and lids, feeding tapers, palletizing, and configuring gift orders to ensure expedited processing of customer orders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Build pallets according to storage specifications, ensuring pallet pattern meets all requirements.
Ensure quality assurance and vendor compliance specifications are met.
Physically stack and unstack pallets.
Support the shipping line by maintaining a constant flow of product or removal.
Read SKU numbers and sort product by size/SKU of box to prepare for loading.
Perform other duties and work in other departments as assigned.
Adhere to all SQF (Safe Quality Foods) guidelines.
Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance.
