We are currently seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team.Under direct supervision, performs duties to receive, retrieve, transfer and store parts and materials for manufacturing operations, reads production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed. Maintains accurate inventory. May be assigned to a particular work center or various work centers.**Essential Functions of the Job:**1. Follows all company and departmental safety rules including proper use of personal protective equipment2. Maintains housekeeping in assigned areas3. Fills requisitions, work orders, requests for materials, sales orders, tools or other stock items and deliver items to production areas4. Assembles orders from stock and places on pallets or in baskets, moves orders to packing station, shipping department or trailers5. Places received material and excess inventory in storage locations6. Marks materials with identifying information7. Accurately records locations and amounts of materials or items received, transferred or distributed8. Moves materials as required using lift truck or other means9. Uses computer and hand held scanner to access information, record transactions and verify data10. Performs other duties as assigned**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):**1. Must be certified to operate required material handling equipment2. Must be able to learn how to read blueprints and use measuring instruments3. Should have general knowledge of RhinoAg products and parts4. Basic math skills and computer data entry skills essential5. Good communication skills, both verbal and written**Education and Experience:**1. High school diploma or GED certificate preferred or work experience in a related occupation2. Six months of experience in material handling preferred**Working Conditions:**1. Must be able to work overtime, including weekends2. Must be physically capable of standing / walking / working 8+ hour shift(s)3. Must be able to climb ladders and stairs4. Must be able to lift, carry and/or move up to 40 pounds on a regular basis5.
