Unit Summary

Are you ready to start serving patients within our healthcare system - As the material handler your position is so important! You will play a vital role in ensuring that Healthcare workers have the necessary supplies and equipment to provide quality care to our patients. From receiving and inspecting supplies to distributing supplies to varies departments in an efficient time.

Job Summary

Primarily performs duties related to receiving, stocking and replenishment of supplies in the main supply room. As assigned, replenish inventory supply locations on nursing units, Crash Carts and other supply areas to assure the correct amount of supplies are readily available. Deliver supplies and equipment to assigned nursing units in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner. Work with Nurse Managers and Materials Team Lead to efficiently meet supply needs for the organization.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Experience

• One-year Hospital or other Inventory experience. Computer Experience or training.

Job Core Responsibilities

• Receiving and stocking of supplies.
• Assist the materials team in distribution of supplies as assigned.
• Receiving and stocking of supplies.
• Work with Materials Team Leader and clinical teams to understand and meet supply needs
• Assist in the inventory process as assigned by Materials Team Leader.
• Other duties as assigned
