The Material Handler, under supervision, manages receiving, storing, pulling, packing, and shipping supplies for the lab and clients.
- Receives and stocks supplies from vendors, verifies accuracy, labels containers, and organizes inventory according to FIFO procedures.
- Fills client and phlebotomist orders, communicates about backorders, and delivers supplies to lab areas.
- Checks invoices, maintains inventory, and disposes of packaging and biohazard materials per protocols.
- Ensures compliance with security, privacy, and departmental policies, including handling sensitive information.
- Performs additional duties such as problem-solving, collaborating with departments, and assisting with refrigerated orders.
Requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred one year of related experience.
