We are looking for a Laboratory Manager to join our team at the Elbit Cyclone site in Bar-Lev Industrial Zone.
This is a leadership role in a professional aerospace environment, managing laboratory operations and ensuring the highest quality testing standards for materials and components in alignment with customer and aviation requirements. In this role, you will:
- Manage a team of laboratory technicians
- Hold professional responsibility for performing tests on materials and components according to customer and aerospace standards
- Oversee daily laboratory operations including equipment calibration, stock monitoring, and laboratory maintenance
- Write professional specifications and procedures
- Report deviations promptly and take an active part in failure investigations
- Provide professional training and mentoring for laboratory staff
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Materials Engineering - Mandatory
- M.Sc. in Materials Engineering - Advantage
- At least 5 years of experience working in a materials laboratory - Mandatory
- Experience in manufacturing and testing of composite materials - Advantage
- Experience in manufacturing and testing of metallic materials and/or chemical testing - Advantage
- Experience managing a small team and familiarity with aerospace standards such as AS9100 and NADCAP - Advantage
- Strong command of English
- Experience working with multiple interfaces, customers, and suppliers in Israel and abroad
- Ability to lead employees and cross-organizational processes with assertiveness and system-wide understanding
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork ability, and high self-learning capability
