You confirm the outbound schedule in the ERP, sync with production on what’s coming off the line, and clear the inbound queue so raw materials hit the floor on time. Your team is trained, your warehouse is safe and organized, and your paperwork—from pick slips to certificates of conformance—lands accurately the first time. As our Materials Logistics Manager, you orchestrate the complete life cycle of shipping and receiving so our advanced composites reach Automotive, Aviation, and Aerospace customers without a hitch.

What You’ll Own

  • Direct all inbound and outbound freight operations, ensuring accurate documentation, timely processing, and adherence to company and carrier standards.
  • Schedule, lead, and develop a high-performing team of shipping/receiving clerks and warehouse associates; conduct training and performance reviews.
  • Align logistics with production, procurement, and sales to meet manufacturing output and customer delivery expectations.
  • Maintain inventory integrity by reconciling shipping/receiving records, executing cycle counts, and investigating discrepancies.
  • Champion safety, 5S, and OSHA compliance; keep docks and warehouse areas clean, organized, and audit-ready.
  • Use ERP/WMS (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) to track shipments, generate reports, and manage records such as pick slips, bills of lading, and certificates of conformance.

What You Bring

  • 3–5+ years in shipping, receiving, or warehouse management (manufacturing preferred), with proven team leadership in fast-paced, high-volume settings.
  • Hands-on fluency with ERP/WMS and Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of domestic and international freight rules, customs documentation, and carrier compliance.
  • Exceptional organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills under tight deadlines.
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) and comfort with material handling equipment.
  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.

Preferred

  • Inspection exposure within aerospace, aviation, automotive, or composites manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with advanced materials, including composites and thermosets.

Success Looks Like
