Find your future with us. **Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)** is looking for a **Materials Management and Transportation Manager** to join our **Fulfillment** team in **Everett** , **WA** . **2nd shift position:** Monday through Friday and working hours are 1:30 pm till 10 pm. Must be willing and able to work any shift (Must be able & willing to work various shifts and/or an alternate baseline schedule that may frequently change to support mission requirements and may include weekends and holidays; mission requirements and/or workload may require both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.) The successful candidate is self-motivated driven person who can manage and integrate employees' activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation. Specifically in the delivery customer service role. You should be able to develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals. Acquire resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of team members and lead process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. The candidate selected for the 2nd shift position will be assigned responsibilities that include operations factory support, shipping/receiving, material handling, expedite, warehousing and serving as the Supply Chain contact for off shift customer support. This role principally leads a team of hourly, represented team members in the Supply Chain function. Our team is currently hiring for a Level K Materials Management and Transportation Manager for 2nd shift. **Position Responsibilities:** + Manages and integrates employees' activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation + Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals + Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements + Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports + Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes + Manages, develops and motivates employees + Possesses a mindset of safety and quality; influences the team to exhibit Boeing Values and Behaviors **Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process.
