Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Materials Management & Logistics Specialist II for a Contract job with a client in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate must have experience in inventory control, logistics coordination, and procurement processes, along with strong analytical and organizational skills.

Rate Range: $29/hour to $31/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Materials Management & Logistics Specialist II job responsibilities include:

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock to support production and operational needs.

• Coordinate procurement activities with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate material deliveries.

• Manage receiving, storage, and distribution of materials in line with company procedures.

• Track and document inventory transactions, shipments, and material usage with high accuracy.

• Partner with vendors and internal teams to ensure efficient logistics and supply chain coordination.

• Analyze data to identify process improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.

• 2-4 years of experience in materials management, logistics, or supply chain operations.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory tracking systems.

• Solid understanding of procurement, warehousing, and logistics processes.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and time management skills.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across vendors and internal teams.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Pay Details: $29.00 to $31.00 per hour
