We are seeking an experienced Materials Manager to oversee the planning, purchasing, inventory, and flow of materials needed to support manufacturing operations. This position will work closely with Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure materials are available when needed while maintaining accurate inventory levels and controlling costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage material planning, purchasing, inventory, and production requirements
• Monitor inventory levels, shortages, and material availability
• Coordinate with suppliers to support on-time deliveries
• Work closely with Production and Purchasing to resolve material issues
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts
• Identify opportunities to improve material flow, inventory accuracy, and efficiency

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in materials management, supply chain, purchasing, or manufacturing
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong communication and vendor-management skills
• Manufacturing experience preferred
