A Day In The Life
Lead and develop a high-performing team of planners and buyers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Serve as the primary owner of materials management strategy for Ripley Tools
Drive optimization across all materials functions, including:
Production planning & scheduling
Procurement & supplier performance
Inventory management & control
Warehousing and material flow
Champion and support SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) processes to ensure alignment across the business and seamless product delivery
Partner across functions-Engineering, Marketing, Quality, Finance, and Operations-to support strategic business goals
Identify gaps and implement data-driven countermeasures to improve underperforming processes and suppliers
Lead efforts to strengthen Lean Six Sigma initiatives, reducing waste and improving efficiency throughout the operation
Build and execute sourcing and planning strategies that simplify complexity and improve scalability
