    • Analyze inventory levels, usage trends, warehouse balances, and service performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Partner with manufacturing, purchasing, planning, warehouse, and operations teams to improve inventory turns, reduce excess inventory, and prevent out-of-stock issues.
    • Support planning systems and processes, including forecasting, MPS, MRP, and DRP.
    • Review inventory targets and planning parameters to ensure proper stocking levels across warehouses and product lines.
    • Help design and maintain reporting tools that improve coordination between manufacturing, supply, demand, and customer requirements.

    • Train team members on inventory processes, reporting procedures, system changes, and proper data entry.
    • Travel to warehouse or distribution locations as needed to support inventory audits, physical counts, training, and process reviews.
    Requirements:
    • 4-year degree in engineering, business, supply chain, systems, programming, or a related field preferred.
    • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, distribution, inventory control, materials planning, purchasing, scheduling, or a related environment.
    • Experience in inventory management, materials planning, production planning, supply chain, or a closely related function.
    • Strong ERP experience required; SAP experience strongly preferred.
    • Experience with AS/400, Query, PRMS, or other integrated manufacturing systems is a plus.
    • Strong understanding of inventory control, materials planning, scheduling, forecasting, MPS, MRP, DRP, and inventory turns.
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
    • Experience building reports, extracting data, analyzing inventory trends, and improving planning tools.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Must enjoy working with data, solving problems, improving systems, and helping teams make better business decisions.
