Material Handler/Receiving II

STARTING RATE: $24.00-$29.00 (Depending Upon Experience)

1st Shift (6:30-3:00pm)

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOBResponsible for receiving, inspecting, and logging all incoming packages and materials. Supports production by preparing and staging raw materials, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

Receive, inspect, and log incoming materials and packages.Verify quantity and condition of received goods; report discrepancies.Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and finished goods.Prepare and stage raw materials for production (e.g., load hoppers, dryers).Mix materials and regrind as needed for production.Clean and organize material staging areas.Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.Use IQMS or other ERP systems to track inventory and production materials.Promote and maintain a safe and clean work environment.Ensure compliance with ISO and other applicable quality standards.Support continuous improvement initiatives.Work overtime as needed based on production demands.Perform other duties as assigned by management.

QualificationsEducation

High School education or equivalent

Experience

Minimum of 1 year experience in material handling or receiving in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.Proficient in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.Basic math skills.Intermediate computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, ERP systems).Forklift certification or ability to become certified.Familiarity with plastic molded parts preferred.Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.Detail-oriented and organized.Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime.
