Title: Materials Planner

Location: On-site at San Antonio, TX

Duration: 12 Months
Hours: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM with lunch /Monday-Thursday (We will be transitioning to 10-hour days in the future. 4/10's Monday -Thursday)

• The plant is making some changes to the schedules effective this week.
• It is required that consultants wear steel-toed shoes all day long.
• No jewelry as this is a plant environment.
• Work within a material planning team at San Antonio manufacturing facility, where we build Class 6-8 commercial trucks and EVs.
• Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle.
• Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules.
• Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering.
• Develops specifications for new contract orders.
• Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity; creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise-wide systems

• Proficient with MS Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and no experience
• OR
• At least 2 years of shop order planning and purchasing experience
