**Job Description** How does it feel to work on a team driven to make a big impact? Empowering. BAE Systems is seeking a Materials Planning Manager - MVSM(Material Value Stream Manager). In this role as a Materials Planning Manager -MVSM, you will be responsible for all aspects of Integrated Supply Chain production fulfillment for the assigned value stream. Key Responsibilities: + Drive safety culture focused on exposure reduction + Supervise resources within material planning and lineside suppport for assigned Value Stream(s) + Develop strategies and process improvements related to Material Storage, Receipt, Lineside delivery and Reporting. + Ensure consistent availability of Quality Material On-Time to support production demands & escalate + Support closure of work orders and accurate consumption + Own and Maintain Lineside Inventory planning and inventory accuracy. Responsible for inventory accuracy within the sites working closely with the team to quickly resolve inventory variances. + Report and drive improvement across standard KPI s for line replenishment, material transactions, and material planning. + Provide forward-looking visibility to material challenges and risk to key internal stakeholders, through partnership with Supply Chain + Provide single POC for Production for shift material escalations, ensuring exceptions are handled expeditiously. + Support off shift hours & weekends as needed + Collaborate with cross functional teams, including Program, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to ensure seamless execution of production plans + Implements Change Management techniques to redesign and refine warehousing operations, processes, and systems **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience. Work experience considered in lieu of formal education + Understanding of key concepts in material planning / replenishment + Ability to improve material flow strategies + Experience with ERP / MRP inventory management & supply/demand planning + Ability to identify and drive actionable outcomes through influence. + Sense of urgency + Ability to lead and manage in a cross-functional environment with complex issues and rapidly changing priorities and assignments + Ability to be resilient in facing challenging situations and creatively solves problems while continuously motivating teams and meeting production demands + Proven experience identifying and driving process improvements through experience and analytical/data driven methods + Strong communication and presentation skills **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Oracle ERP Experience in Defense (DoD)/Government Contracting environments + Bargaining Unit Management Experience + Experience supporting low volume, high complexity Manufacturing + Training in a formal continuous improvement methodology (Lean, Six Sigma, TPS, etc.) + APICS Certification **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $92180 - $156707 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
