Hours:

1st Shift, 6:00AM - 2:00PM

Pay: $22.24

What Will You Do?

  • Create and execute visual management of inventory levels in purchased parts markets
  • Communicate potential shortages to cycle counters and/or material coordinators
  • Ensure purchased part markets are conforming to the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) plan layout
  • Develop and maintain 5S standards for parts markets - assist with updating standard work, training to standard work, and auditing when appropriate
  • Update market metric boards on a daily basis
  • Create and support all process changes to purchased parts markets - new parts, stock utilization, identifying obsolete parts
  • Perform Kanban card audits
  • Assist with physical layout and implementation of purchased parts markets
  • Material handle purchased parts as needed using mobile equipment
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved
  • Willingly performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

What Do You Need?

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while additional ability to work well with others in a collaborative manner
  • High attention to organization and detail
  • Working knowledge of all MS Office applications preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to create and follow standard work and procedures
  • Previous forklift experience and/or ability to become forklift certified
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
  • Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly; 25 pounds frequently; 40 pounds occasionally
