Materials Specialist

Summary:

• Location: Cayce, SC
• Duration: 7 Months
• 8-hour days, Monday – Friday. Start between 07:00 – 08:00

Responsibilities:

• Work with storeroom personnel at multiple power generation plants across SC
• Assist with new item creation and syncing of data between Maximo and SAP
• Ensure SOX compliance and handle additional inventory tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of related work experience
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams
• Knowledge of materials management, procurement processes, inventory control
• Understanding of material and service contract law
• Familiarity with environmental, government/legal, and regulatory requirements
• Skills in inventory analysis techniques
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Basic forecasting and trend analysis skills
• Computer and value/cost analysis skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to process information quickly and accurately
• Organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in SAP and Maximo
