Materials Specialist

The Materials Specialist plays a key role within the manufacturing and quality assurance teams, focusing on managing materials to ensure efficient production and high-quality outputs. This position involves close collaboration as a team member, utilizing ERP systems to oversee inventory, maintain quality standards and efficient production.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels to ensure availability of necessary materials
• Utilize ERP and related systems to track, issue and reconcile materials
• Perform quality control checks to maintain material standards
• Maintain accurate documentation related to materials and processes
• Collaborate with production, purchasing and QA to resolve material-related issues
• Generate reports to support manufacturing and quality assurance activities

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in materials management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with inventory management
• Strong quality control skills
• Effective communication abilities
• Proven problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
