The Materials Supervisor oversees material control, inbound/outbound shipments, and inventory activities primarily on the shop floor.
They coordinate material handling, warehouse layout, and team training.
Responsibilities include implementing cycle counting, managing receiving and shipping processes, and ensuring customs compliance.
They monitor operations for safety, quality, and efficiency, conduct daily floor walks, and liaison between Materials and Production.
The role involves managing WMS, reports, supplier reconciliation, and trailer replenishment.
They address non-conformities, participate in safety investigations, and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
Qualifications include 3-5 years manufacturing experience, supervisory skills, and knowledge of supply chain principles.
Experience with Automotive JIT and union environments is a plus.
Must be open to second shift (5:30 pm - 4 am).
