Laboratory TechnicianRequired Education• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred Education• Associate's degree in a technical fieldRequired Qualifications/Skills/Experience• 2–3 years of demonstrated laboratory experience• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint• Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for data preservation• Comfortable working with toxic chemicals while adhering to laboratory safety practices and protocols• Ability to stand while working in the laboratory for most of the workdayLaboratory Technician Overview• The Laboratory Technician works under the supervision of a Senior Technician or Chemist to support laboratory testing and experimentation• This role performs mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties testing of thermal interface materials and coatings using established laboratory procedures• Responsibilities include evaluating, collecting, recording, and communicating test data while maintaining accurate laboratory documentation• The technician uses Microsoft Office applications to organize data, create charts and tables, and prepare project summaries and presentations• Success in this role requires attention to detail, adherence to laboratory safety protocols, the ability to follow standardized procedures, and the initiative to perform assigned tasks with a high level of independenceJob Duties• Perform mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties testing of thermal interface materials and coatings• Evaluate, collect, and record laboratory test data• Organize and perform experiments using established laboratory procedures• Summarize and report experimental results in a laboratory notebook and PowerPoint presentations• Enter data and information into computer systems, including charts and tables, to communicate project results and details• Perform assigned laboratory functions with a high level of initiative and independence under the supervision of a Senior Technician or Chemist**Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.****Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements.**
