    Description

    ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking a Materials Testing Senior Engineering Technician to perform field testing of construction related materials including but not limited to soils, concrete, grout/masonry, and asphalt.*Sign-on bonus may be available based on individual experience and certification(s)!ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and advanced field tests in accordance with ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, DOT or other standardsPerform and document observations of constructionReview and understand project related drawings and specificationsCommunicate effectively with ESP project staff and project construction teamReport observations and test results through ESP's field data collection softwareQualificationsHigh School Diploma, GED, or Associate degree requiredThree or more years of experience in construction testing of soil, concrete, masonry and/or asphalt materials preferredACI Field Grade I Certification preferredNuclear Density Gauge Safety Certification preferredEffective oral and written communication skillsWillingness to work in varying weather conditionsNICET, DOT, and other applicable Certifications will be considered beneficial in the roleCandidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company's driving (MVR) policy.Corporate InformationESP is a multi-discipline engineering design and consulting firm providing our clients with civil engineering, surveying, planning/landscape architecture, geosciences, environmental, subsurface utility engineering, and construction engineering inspection.Through years of dedicated service to our clients, ESP has received a designation of 189 on the 2026 ENR Top 500 Design Firm rankings.
