Job Summary:
This is an exciting and fulfilling opportunity with Zachry Group?s IT Asset Management Team. We are seeking highly motivated individuals to perform the functions of a Material Warehouse Specialist
What will you do in this role-
Daily Task involves fulling inventory IT request, from both on-site and from our remote offices.
Create shipping labels, packaging shipping IT equipment. (Servers, Laptops, Desktops, etc)
Perform basic Inventory duties, asset tagging, scanning equipment, restocking warehouse etc.
Process all incoming IT equipment received in Inventory database.
Setup to test new & old hardware (Laptops, MiFi, Monitors, docking stations, desktops etc,)
Perform weekly audits against internal inventory database & on-site warehouse.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse. (Breaking down boxes discard trash)
Responsible for processing orders within leads time to maintain on-hand stockroom levels.
Responsible for obtaining an in-depth knowledge of all supported hardware within the inventory warehouse.
Responsible for proper dispositioning of IT equipment using the established process.
Responsible for ensuring inventory database is accurately maintained and tracked.
Support various teams, Telecom, Server, Desktop Support & Network.
What you can expect the physical demands to be-
Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 10-50 pounds; visual acuity, speech, and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment.
