Architects, designers, contractors and homeowners rely on us for Southern California's largest selection of boulders, crushed stone, decomposed granite, flagstone, natural thin veneer, cobble, pebbles, outdoor stone fountains and custom fabrication.

We are looking for a Yard Assistant to join our team in Pacific Beach, CA.

Essential Job Functions:

• Meet & Greet customers
• Assist customers with product selection and sales
• Load customer vehicles, checking for accuracy
• Weigh trucks when needed
• Coordinate yard upkeep with yard foreman
• Ensure proper tagging, weighing, and storage of products
• Ensure scales and yard areas are clean of debris
• Maintain tool cleanliness and product organization/visibility in yard
• Operate equipment as needed using checklist and safety measures
• Assist Drivers when needed
• Establish sales leads from customers
• Participate in progressive training on current and new product lines
• Complete product knowledge testing

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Prior forklift experience/certification a plus
• Ability to work rotational weekends
• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment including loaders
• Learn material within a successful timeline
• Rotational weekends required
