Job Description Summary:

The Maternal Fetal Medicine APRN provides specialized care to high-risk obstetric patients in collaboration with MFM physicians and multidisciplinary teams. This role focuses on managing complex pregnancies, ensuring optimal maternal and fetal outcomes through evidence-based, compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments, including detailed histories, physical exams, and risk evaluations
• Manage high-risk pregnancy conditions such as gestational diabetes, hypertension, multiple gestations, and fetal anomalies
• Assist in coordinating and monitoring advanced diagnostic testing (e.g., ultrasounds, NSTs, BPPs)
• Provide patient education on high-risk pregnancy management, treatment plans, and follow-up care
• Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, and care teams to develop individualized care plans
• Participate in inpatient consults, rounding, and outpatient clinic visits
• Support care coordination, including referrals, transitions of care, and follow-up scheduling
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with AdventHealth standards

Shift: Day

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Current Florida APRN license and national certification (WHNP, FNP, or related specialty)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Women’s health, labor & delivery, or high-risk obstetrics experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-centered care skills
