Our organization is looking for a full-time faculty member to become part of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, specifically within the Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) division. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver maternal fetal medicine services, which include:
• • Conducting high-risk ultrasounds
  • Providing prenatal consultations
  • Offering antepartum care
• Practice as part of the Albany Med Faculty Physician Group and its associated inpatient facilities.
• Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and MFM fellows.
• Engage in scholarly activities, with chances for regional and national presentations and publications.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
• Demonstrated strong clinical skills with a focus on:

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology encompasses five clinical divisions, including General Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Family Planning, and Urogynecology. The department supports 24 residents and 3 MFM fellows (one per year). The MFM division conducts fetal echocardiography, amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and other advanced procedures.
