    Summary:

    Performs detailed ultrasound examinations of the fetus and maternal structures across all trimesters, including single and multi-gestational pregnancies (twins, triplets, etc). Also performs specialized studies, including fetal echocardiogram, nuchal translucency screening, and doppler studies, and assists with amniocentesis procedures. Analyzes images for abnormalities and provide findings to the Perinatologist and Radiologists. Performs general and vascular, adult, pediatric, and neonatal sonographic exams. Documents all imaging findings and procedural details in the medical record. Responsible for performing all duties related to imaging, including patient care, technical training of new staff and students, radiology information system (RIS) data management, picture archiving systems, file room general clerical, physician assistance, housekeeping, patient transportation, and other related duties.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Preferred Education: Technical Program Completion or Degree Specialization in Ultrasound; Associates Degree in Ultrasound.

    Required Credentials: BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification; RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) within 1 year; Or ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Relevant Specialty.
