Winthrop Position Title Math Department Assistant FWS F26 Job Purpose

Assists the Department of Mathematics

Duties and Responsibilities

Main duty is creating social media posts and posters using Canva. Responsibilities include updating bulletin boards, assisting with event preparations, assist faculty and office personnel with day-to-day tasks, occasional pickup and deliveries around campus, perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Proficient with social media platforms

Proficient with the online graphic design platform, Canva

Must be able to work independently

Must be punctual, reliable and organized with a strong work ethic

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, with a friendly demeanor

Ability to climb a 3-step ladder

Able to lift 10 lbs.

Preferred Skills

Marketing/creativity and experience with social media highly desired. Proficiency with Canva.
