Responsibilities
- Provide engaging one-to-one and small-group instruction as a Math Instructor
- Teach and support students in math concepts through Algebra 2 and Geometry
- Create a welcoming, motivating, and productive learning environment
- Build confidence and enthusiasm for math in every student
- Track and communicate student progress with Center Director and team members
- Follow Mathnasium’s teaching and instructional methods
- Support daily center operations and teamwork
- Work closely with other instructors, teachers, and leadership
Requirements
- Comfortable with math concepts through Algebra 2 and Geometry
- Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic personality
- Ability to connect with both students and parents
- Experience working with children is preferred but not required
- Interest in an instructor, tutor, or teacher-style role
- Reliable availability for afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts
Schedule & Availability
This is a part-time Math Instructor position with flexible hours.
Most shifts are in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
We are looking for long-term instructors and teachers who can stay with us throughout the school year.
Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
