The Math Learning Lab seeks motivated undergraduate students for the Computer Science Learning Assistant position (2026-2027).
- Assist with CSAS Introduction to Program Design I & II classes by attending sessions, answering student questions, and solving technical issues.
- Develop and present programming projects, evaluate student work, and prepare study guides.
- Conduct two weekly office hours and 6-8 hours of tutoring/recitation.
- Support supervision and training of tutors.
Qualifications: Enrolled undergraduate with a GPA of 3.0+ in Math/CS, proficient in CS and Math courses, experience with Racket and Program-by-Design, and previous peer tutoring experience. A recommendation from designated faculty is required.
Preferred: Skills in Java, Python, and additional programming experience. Applicants must email grades and obtain a recommendation letter after applying.
