Sylvan Learning Center is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Math/Reading Teachers to work with elementary and middle school students in a supportive, personalized learning environment.

Responsibilities
- Teach and support students in grades 1–8 in mathematics and/or reading.
- Deliver personalized instruction using Sylvan's proven curriculum.
- Motivate students and create a positive learning experience.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with the Center Director and educational team.
- Maintain a professional and engaging classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of elementary and middle school mathematics and/or reading.
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Education, English, Literacy, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field).
- Teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with students of different learning levels.
- Reliable, positive, and student-focused attitude.
Schedule
- Part-time and flexible schedules available.
- Afternoon, evening, and Saturday hours.
- Additional opportunities available for SAT/ACT Math instructors.
Compensation
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications ($25-$30, starting, based on experience).
