Math / Special Education Teacher (9-12)

Sandwich Middle High School is looking for a dual certified Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to work in a co-teaching classroom. Candidates will provide individual, small group and group instruction that will support the maintenance skills in the areas of reading, math and written expression.

All applicants must be fingerprinted prior to hiring in addition to completing a CORI application with our Central Office.

Qualities/Skills/Experience:

• Must possess MA DESE certification: dual certification (Math & Spec. Ed.) required.
• Experience working with students with moderate special needs preferred.
• Dual knowledge of Special Education laws and procedures.
• Experience working with students in grades 9-12.
• Patience and sense of humor required.

COMPENSATION: Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement located on the Sandwich website.
