HJT1 is a 4K-8th Grade district located in Washington and Dodge Counties; 35 miles northwest of Milwaukee, 55 miles south of Oshkosh, and 60 miles northeast of Madison. The city of Hartford is in the rolling hills of the scenic Kettle Moraine with Pike Lake State Park, Holy Hill Basilica & National Shrine and Erin Hills Golf Course minutes from the city limits. We are a community of over 16,000 with strong education, and many attractions such as the Schauer Arts Center and Recreation Center, and a variety of retail stores and restaurants. Hartford is an active community with many organizations and groups uplifting the home community feel. The HJT1 District is made up of two elementary buildings and one middle school building.
The School District of Hartford Jt. #1 is seeking a skilled and highly motivated middle school math teacher to join our team at Central Middle School. We are committed to ensuring high levels of learning for all students through engaging instruction, meaningful relationships, and continuous improvement. We value educators who are reflective in practice, collaborative in their work, and dedicated to helping students grow academically and personally. Candidates with experience in Illustrative Math or a math curriculum that helps students develop critical thinking skills and problem-based math is preferred.
