The ideal candidate will be licensed to teach math or will have completed sufficient course work in math to facilitate an engaging learning environment with opportunity for project-based learning that will connect academic skills with practical application in the real world. Working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary to help create cross circular lesson plans, differentiate curriculum and support varied learning styles will be provided.
The Fay Honey Knopp School, located in Rutland, VT, is a State Board of Education approved therapeutic independent school offering unique learning opportunities to inspire personal change and well-being for adolescent males, ages 12-17 years in grades 7-12. The students enrolled in Fay Honey Knopp are part of a residential treatment program that offers multidisciplinary care across settings in allowing youth the opportunity for healing, safety and restoration.
