Salary:Per Teachers' Contract
To Start:August 24, 2026 (plus two mentoring days on August 18-19, 2026)
Qualifications: Massachusetts Department of Education Teacher Licensure: Mathematics (8-12), required; Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) endorsement, required; Expertise with the Massachusetts Mathematics Frameworks, required; Experience working with Students with Limited or Interrupted Formal Education (SLIFE); Demonstrated ability to co-teach in an SEI classroom; Bilingual, preferably Spanish and/or Portuguese, preferred.
Responsibilities: Provide an engaging, rigorous curriculum embedded with real-world connections and opportunities for higher order critical thinking Develop, implement, and consistently monitor goals and objectives for students in accordance with the Mathematics and English Language Learner frameworks Work collaboratively with other members of the Mathematics, Special Education, and/or English Language Learner departments Use data to inform instruction on a daily basis; i.e., formative, summative, benchmarks, project based learning Proven ability to accommodate curriculum in order to meet the needs of students Communicate regularly with parents/guardians Provide a positive structured learning environment and lessons, addressing appropriate grade-level and English proficiency levels to WIDA and Common Core Standards in mathematics A self-reflective, active learner capable of interactive dialogue with all members of the school community A positive person, willing to become involved in the academic and social aspects of school life Perform standard duties as required by administration
