We seek educators who aspire to engage differences with courage, honesty, intellectual curiosity, respect, and humility.  Specifically, the Mathematics Department seeks educators who are interested in an explorative curriculum that promotes collaborative learning, skill development, deep conceptual understanding, and effective problem-solving strategies and someone who is passionate about educating girls and preparing them to succeed in STEAM fields and elsewhere. This Math Teacher will teach two sections of our AT Calculus with Infinite Series course, comparable to Calculus BC with an emphasis on mathematical thinking, discovery, and synthesis, and will report to the Department Lead and Academic Leadership and work closely with other Math teachers and with grade level colleagues.

Key Qualifications:

• Prior teaching experience and/or commensurate professional experience

• Proficiency with technology in and out of the classroom 

• Undergraduate degree in relevant field of study

Compensation and Benefits:

• Eligible for: Medical, Dental, Vision, LTD, EAP and Life  

• Eligible for 403(b) Retirement plan with an outstanding employer match

• Castilleja uses a competitive salary scale which takes into account the range of experience, education, and skill level. The yearly salary for this position ranges from $82,700 to $125,000 and would be prorated for 50%.
