MATH TEACHER

West Springfield High School is seeking a dynamic and student centered Mathematics Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment, supporting diverse learners, and delivering engaging, standards based instruction.
Responsibilities:
- Teach assigned mathematics classes at designated times and locations
- Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to students' developmental levels
- Plan and deliver standards aligned lessons that support district curriculum goals
- Establish and communicate clear learning objectives for lessons and units
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to meet diverse student needs
- Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback and required reports
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
- Maintain accurate and complete records in accordance with district and state requirements
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students, materials, and school facilities
Qualifications:
- Massachusetts D.E.S.E. Certification in Mathematics 9-12
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
- Familiarity with Illustrative Mathematics curriculum is desired
Salary: Per Unit A Contract (Salary Range:$53,939.00 - $101,108.00)
