SPECIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong Math curriculum background

  • Expertise in competency-/ Standard-based learning

  • Knowledge, training, and implementation experience in Differentiated Instruction and/or personalization

  • Expertise in technology integration

  • Ability to supervise and support students to create the Hillview yearbook

  • Ability to edit, revise, and manage all yearbook content as needed to ensure an inclusive and representative yearbook

  • Knowledge of yearbook design and design software

  • Demonstrated success in collaborative planning with teachers of other subjects

  • Knowledge of Professional Learning Community teams

  • Ability to work in a teacher team

  • Ability to plan lessons that cross curriculum and cultural lines

  • Demonstrated expertise and success in communication with parents

  • Ability, experience, and willingness to supervise the mainstreaming of special education students

QUALIFICATIONS: Valid California Teaching Credential (Single Subject Math or Supplementary Authorization Math) or meet the qualifications for credential authorization. CLAD required.
