The Duxbury Public Schools is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of part-time Math Tutor (PreK-2) for the 2026-2027 school year

Responsibilities include working in small groups to support students with math concepts taught in the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor''s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university
  • Management skills that support learning
  • Ability to collaborate in order to meet the needs of students
  • Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners
  • Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks for small group instruction
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current teacher certification from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education

Part-time position (less than 19.5 hours per week)- schedule to be determined by building administrator.

The Chandler School is a Preschool - 2 early childhood school with 630 students and 140 dedicated staff members.
