ANNOUNCEMENT OF OPENING MATHEMATICS FACULTY The Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science is accepting applications for a faculty position in Mathematics for the 2026-27 academic year. The successful candidate will be prepared to teach a range of advanced mathematics courses, including calculus and statistics. Final teaching assignments will depend upon student needs.
The Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science is a public, residential high school for academically gifted and talented eleventh and twelfth-grade students located on the campus of the Mississippi University for Women, Columbus, Mississippi. The mission is "to enhance the future of Mississippi in the global society by 1) meeting the individual needs of gifted and talented students through providing innovative learning experiences and leadership development in a residential environment, 2) providing quality educational leadership for other educators, and 3) conducting aggressive outreach programs that impact students across Mississippi."
