The Department of Mathematics at Auburn University at Montgomery invites applications for a non-tenure track, full-time lecturer position, to begin August 2026. This is a one-year (nine-month), renewable appointment. Responsibilities will include teaching courses appropriate to the needs of the department and maintaining office hours. The teaching load is 8 courses (24 hrs) per academic year (Fall and Spring). Summer teaching is possible. Successful candidates must have earned at least a master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, or a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics and statistics completed before the employment start date. Evidence of excellence in teaching and interpersonal communication skills is also required.
