Introduction
Provides leadership for CTAHR Extension, Research, and Instructional programs in Maui county. Manages and maintains two CTAHR Cooperative Extension offices (Molokai and Kahului) and four Research stations (Kula Agriculture Park Site, Maui Agricultural Research Center, Haleakala Research Station, and Molokai Applied Research Farm) in Maui County.

Authority and Decision-Making Exercised
Guided by University of Hawai'i and CTAHR policies and procedures. County Administrators function independently, taking into account the different situations and needs of the particular county.
Exercises independent judgment in handling a wide variety of problems involving a highly diverse population of clientele groups and individuals.
Direction and Review of Work Received
Outcomes are checked against planned objectives with input by clientele groups, faculty, and staff.
Contacts and Relationships
All CTAHR and University of Maui units; Federal, State, and county agencies: industry and community organizations and leaders; individual group clienteles; general public. Must function under constant public scrutiny.
