Description

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Maximo 9.2 Data Migration Lead in Armonk, NY. We are looking to identify qualified candidates for a Data Migration Lead role supporting a large-scale IBM Maximo 9.2 implementation. The successful candidate will:
  • Lead the end-to-end data migration and data conversion workstream for an IBM Maximo 9.2 implementation
  • Design and oversee extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes to migrate data from legacy Asset Management, Work Management, ERP, GIS, and related operational systems into IBM Maximo
  • Develop data migration strategies, source-to-target mappings, data quality plans, reconciliation processes, mock conversion activities, and production cutover plans

Requirements:

  • Senior-level candidates with a strong combination of leadership, client-facing consulting experience, and hands-on data migration expertise
  • Possess strong knowledge of IBM Maximo data structures, including Assets, Locations, Work Orders, PMs, Inventory, Labor, and related master data
  • Have hands-on experience with modern cloud-based data platforms, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Databricks, and other enterprise ETL/data integration technologies
Leadership and Communication Skills: This is not simply a technical ETL lead position. We are specifically seeking candidates who have:
  • Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience leading workshops with business and technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to communicate migration strategy, status, risks, and issues to program leadership and executive stakeholders
  • Experience driving decisions, facilitating data mapping sessions, and obtaining business signoff on migration deliverables
  • A consulting mindset with the ability to build trust and credibility with client teams
Offshore Team Management: Candidates must also have demonstrated experience:
  • Managing offshore ETL developers, data engineers, and migration analysts
  • Leading geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones
  • Reviewing technical designs, mappings, ETL code, and migration deliverables
  • Coordinating delivery activities between onshore business teams and offshore development organizations
  • Managing work planning, quality assurance, issue resolution, and delivery governance
Preferred Industry Experience:
  • IBM Maximo or Maximo Application Suite (MAS)
  • Utility, Energy, Transmission and Distribution, or other asset-intensive industries
  • Large-scale enterprise transformation programs
  • SAP, GIS (Esri), Work Management, Asset Management, or ERP integrations
