DESCRIPTION A CNC machinist works in our manufacturing department and must be able to produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine with G&M code; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. A CNC Machinist plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). A CNC Machinist provides quality inspection and finishing of parts to pass onto the next process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
