Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a growing custom machining facility that thrives on short-run, one-off, and prototype work—not high-volume production. You’ll own setups, machining, on-machine programming, and problem-solving on Mazak equipment while crafting precision parts for power generation, infrastructure, defense, and data center applications.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and run Mazak CNC machining centers with confidence and accuracy
• Create and edit programs right at the control to optimize cycle times and quality
• Produce custom and short-run precision components across small batches
• Work across diverse materials: stainless, aluminum, plastics, Inconel, and specialty alloys
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T to meet tight tolerances
• Verify quality using precision metrology tools and document results
• Diagnose and resolve tooling, workholding, and programming issues
• Keep a safe, tidy workstation and collaborate with teammates to tackle unique jobs

Tools & Technologies

• CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) (Mazak)
• CNC Lathe (5+ axis) (Mazak)
• CNC Router

What You Bring

• Hands-on CNC machining background (job shop experience preferred)
• Strong setup capabilities; Mazak familiarity preferred
• Multi-axis or 5-axis experience is a plus
• Blueprint reading and precision measurement skills
• Mechanical aptitude with a proactive, troubleshooting mindset
• Stable work history and a collaborative, team-first approach

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $36.00 – $42.00+ per hour (commensurate with experience)
• Job Type: Full-Time | In Person
• Schedule: Full-time; overtime available; final schedule discussed during interview
