Safford Brown Mazda of Alexandria is looking for an experienced Main Line Automotive Technician to join our growing service team. We are a high-volume dealership with consistent work available and a strong support system to help our technicians succeed.

Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles according to manufacturer standards
Perform maintenance services including brakes, suspension, engine repairs, and electrical diagnostics
Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues accurately
Complete repair orders efficiently and accurately
Communicate with service advisors regarding recommended repairs and vehicle status
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures
Participate in manufacturer training and certification programs
Previous automotive technician experience required
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
ASE certifications preferred (not required)
Mazda certification is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume shop
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Own tools required
$23 – $37 per flat-rate hour based on experience and certifications
