VISTA member will be developing a robust service learning and volunteer engagement infrastructure for students at GFC. This will include the research and assessment of current campus 'wants' & 'needs', the development of community partnerships that correspond to these wants & needs, creation of communications plan & calendar for events, and development of materials (print and digital) that support these shared goals. This will include VISTA member establishing a pre/post reflection for students after volunteer or service learning events to enhance and critically think about the opportunity provided. Through the development of community partnerships, VISTA will develop a list of volunteer opportunities in a 'Campus Volunteer Initiative', which will enhance and grow these vital opportunities for students to give back in a meaningful way to the local community and build that 'sense of belonging'. https://mtengage.org/americorps/application/available-positions/
