Program Summary

The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistic services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in support of this program. For over 35 years we have planned, coordinated, and executed the maintenance and logistic services for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for USMC Expeditionary Forces.

Perform maintenance administration and maintenance functional area management in support of the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program - Philippines (MCPP-PHIL). This is an EXPAT, overseas assignment with a one-year commitment. The MCPP-PHIL Production Control Clerk will report directly to the MCPP-PHIL Data Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and execute the performance of all maintenance administration and management functions for MCPP-PHIL and MCPP-PHIL Organic equipment implementing the following:

  • Advise, support, and assist maintenance personnel to ensure a systematic approach to maintenance operations of ground equipment.
  • Record, maintain, and document maintenance actions, requirements, and equipment repair statuses in accordance with maintenance management policy, publications, programs, and procedures.
  • Utilize a maintenance information system (GCSS-MC) to perform maintenance administration and analyze and correct non-conformities, perform technical research, requisitioning, and issue of equipment supplies.
  • Provide management-level reports in the areas of production management, equipment lifecycle management, and equipment readiness.
  • Manage the following programs: MDSS II, PQDR, Calibrations, Modifications, Quality, Safety, CPAC, Publication Control, warranty, Tool Control, and Deferred Maintenance Programs, including system troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Comply with personnel and administrative policies, procedures, and government regulations.
  • Comply with established safety regulations, and method and procedures for handling and storing various equipment parts/components.
  • Maintain MCPP-PHIL ISO policies and procedures and ensure on-going compliance with such.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate degree and/or coursework towards a BS degree in business or another related field.
  • In lieu of a degree, a combination of college credits, professional certification, formalized training, or education, and directly related work experience may be considered.
  • Four years of progressive experience with specialized knowledge of maintenance and logistic support activities involving communications systems maintenance.
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • U.S. Stateside Driver's License
  • U.S. Passport
  • FBI Background investigation with no criminal, civil, or security violations.
