Our client is seeking a highly motivated MCS Supply Chain Associate to join the dynamic supply chain team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the timely procurement and inventory management of essential materials, supporting cross-functional initiatives that enhance planning processes and improve overall supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and excel in communicating across multiple teams to drive supply reliability, cost savings, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procure printed, packaging components, and raw materials, ensuring optimal inventory levels for continuous production flow.
  • Place, expedite, and negotiate purchase orders with suppliers, resolving discrepancies related to receiving and invoicing.
  • Evaluate and process purchase requisitions in alignment with company policies, maintaining accurate procurement records.
  • Manage purchase orders, vendor-managed inventory programs, and other supply agreements, including monitoring and updating orders.
  • Lead moderate complexity projects aimed at identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
  • Maintain procurement documentation compliant with industry standards such as cGMP, ensuring audit readiness.
  • Oversee the return process for goods and coordinate any necessary adjustments.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to assess supply chain performance and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Respond proactively to supply chain issues, resolving conflicts and resolving crises to maintain operational continuity.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support overall supply chain objectives and company growth initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Associate’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 months of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement systems, inventory management, and supply chain best practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and communicate insights clearly.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
