    Description

    Location:Onsite - Thousand Oaks, CA

    Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)

    Contract Length: 7 months (possible extension)

    Compensation: $27/$31 per hour (based on experience)

    Summary of the Role

    Join a fast-paced clinical supply chain team and directly support order fulfillment and logistics operations at a large biotech pharmaceutical leader’s Thousand Oaks facility. This on-site role ensures the timely and compliant movement of clinical materials, handling hands-on material management, documentation, and cross-functional coordination. You will play a vital part in process improvement while maintaining strict GMP and SOP compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Pick, review, pack, and prepare clinical materials for shipment in compliance with GMPs and SOPs
    • Execute inventory and shipment transactions in SAP and maintain data accuracy
    • Review orders and documentation for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance
    • Stage and meter outbound shipments and coordinate with planners and requestors for timely delivery
    • Perform material handling, including movement and inventory counts within the warehouse
    • Resolve inventory discrepancies and document all material transactions accurately
    • Operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs) and safely handle materials up to 35 lbs
    • Work in regulated, cold storage environments as needed
    • Support process improvement and safety initiatives
    • Participate in team huddles to review daily workload and priorities

    Required Experience & Skills

    • Experience in clinical supply chain, warehousing, or logistics operations
    • Knowledge of GMP practices and compliance with SOPs
    • Proficiency with SAP, Excel, and Smartsheet
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to safely operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs) and lift up to 35 lbs
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Comfort working in fast-paced, compliance-focused environments

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field
    • Prior experience in a GMP-regulated environment
    • Previous involvement in clinical distribution or regulated workflows

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities

    • Support clinical distribution operations during a 6:30 AM–3:30 PM shift
    • Participate in daily team huddles to align on workload and priorities
    • Pick, pack, and prepare clinical materials for shipment
    • Process inventory and shipment transactions in SAP
    • Evaluate orders and documentation for compliance and accuracy
    • Stage outbound shipments and coordinate with requestors
    • Handle inventory counts, discrepancies, and process improvement tasks

    Basic Qualifications

    • High school diploma/GED and 2 years work or military experience
    • Associates degree and 6 months work or military experience
