We’re seeking a Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologist MD/DO for a long-term onsite locum tenens assignment in Oviedo, Florida. This role combines General Diagnostic Radiology with Light IR, offering a consistent Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule and a potential 104-week coverage need.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Step into a broad General Diagnostic Radiology practice with a strong Emergency Department imaging component and only limited procedural responsibilities.

The workload includes significant CT, stroke, neurovascular, chest radiography, body imaging, ultrasound, and MRI volume, giving you a diverse diagnostic mix without the procedural demands of a traditional high-volume IR assignment.

Light IR responsibilities are limited to procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and breast localization.

CLINICAL MIX

CT: CT Head, Abdomen/Pelvis, CTA Chest/PE, CTA Head/Neck + Trauma CT

MRI: Brain, Spine, Shoulder + Pelvis

Ultrasound: Venous Duplex, Gallbladder, Renal, Pelvic + OB/GYN

X-Ray: Portable Chest, Chest, Trauma Extremities, Pelvis + Spine

Fluoroscopy: Esophagram, Upper GI + Small Bowel Follow Through

Nuclear Medicine: HIDA, Lung Perfusion + Bone Scan

Light IR: Paracentesis, Thoracentesis + Breast Localization

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• MD or DO Radiologist
• Board Certified - REQUIRED
• Strong General Diagnostic Radiology Experience
• Comfortable with High-Volume CT Interpretation
• Emergency Department Imaging Experience
• Familiarity with Stroke CTA + Acute Neuro Imaging
• Strong Plain Film + Body CT Interpretation Skills
• Comfortable Performing Basic Image-Guided Procedures
• Prior Locums/Travel Experience
• Fellowship Not Required
• Academic Medical Center Experience Not Required
